Activities more strenuous than lounging by the pool, listening to music, reading, drinking or eating can be accommodated. Our full size tennis court is available to guests, there’s boule and billiards, walks in the park or by the canal. We have bikes available with recommendations on “tours” and canoes for those that want to discover the canal. We are members of the local Graves et Sauternes Golf Course and can arrange golf there or at any of the 4 near-by courses.
In addition to our tourist recommendations below, we advise a selection of gastronomic restaurants or an optional picnic lunch..
Other “to do’s”
There is really a lot to do in and around Meilhan; Golfing, Hiking and walking, Horse riding, kayaking and canoeing: Gourmet tourism for fine wines (St Emillion and Buzet wine areas are only 20 minutes away) and fois gras products from the “terroir”: Museums, churches and antiquities, including Bordeaux’s famous chateaux and medieval Bastide villages.
